Say hello to Legolas. He will likely greet you with warmth and curiosity. This friendly, flea-bitten grey is full brother to Navarro. These two Arabian brothers arrived together from Zia Horse Rescue Farm & Sanctuary, Manitoba, in the fall of 2022. They are seldom apart, choosing to stick together for safety and companionship.

Legolas is bright, sensitive, and resourceful. He knows the quickest way into your heart and will capture you before you know what’s happening, and you’ll be hooked. This cleverness also gets him extra hay and treats when the other horses are elsewhere and not paying attention.

Legolas and Navarro are giving us our first experience of caring for Arabians. We feel much gratitude to have them in our care. Beauty, grace, and energy combine in a perfect fit for our visitors and guests.
